Artify Gallery is proud to present ‘Sorry, it’s fragile’, a solo exhibition by Hong Kong artist Elva Lai. The exhibition showcases Lai’s mixed media artwork series including photography depicting her personal memories of migration and separation.
Through her artworks, Lai narrates her own family’s migration journey in order to illustrate and investigate the migration history of Hong Kong. Lai believes that only by looking at the details of migration, memories and stories, we can discover and accept the complexity of Hong Kong’s unique history.
