My Father And I
Visual Arts

Description
Description
The exhibition is about “Time”. Lo Yuet-mei, who is now majoring photography in the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) programme of the Hong Kong Art School, spent time on revisiting the house of her father and re-examining her father’s stuffs. She rediscovered the childhood memories and redefined the lives of the Second World War generation.
In the series “My Father”, Yuet-mei is not just trying to remember her father, but using “the present” time to reconstruct the tiny fragments of her memories and to re-examine her “past”. In her second series “I”, Yuet-mei wants to express her subjective view on “Time”, the vertical progression of time.
