The concert featured traditional drum music, including “Rolling Walnuts”, “The Bull Fighting the Tiger”, “The Menacing Tiger”, “Prince of Qin Inspecting His Army”, “Flying Dragon and Leaping Tiger”, and the folk tunes “Drums in Celebration of a Bumper Harvest”, “Wind and Percussion Music”, “Triumphal Song of Reservoir” and “Fishermen’s Triumphant Song”. A new work, “The Drum of Love”, is specially composed by Ronald Chin to perform with 50 drummers of the Hong Kong Drum Ensemble to create an extraordinary experience in drum music.
