Fundraising concert by The Learners Chorus and The Learners Orchestra to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Charles Gounod’s birth. Programme features:
(1) St Cecilia Mass by Charles Gounod, with soprano Yuki Ip, tenor Jasper Sung and bass Albert Lim;
(2) Symphony of Psalms by Igor Stravinsky; and
(3) Missa Rigensis by Uģis Prauliņš.
Proceeds, net of necessary expenses, will be donated to the Hong Kong Christian Council’s “School Building Project in Myanmar” to build the Kyawt Ogh Village School.
