Being Poon Chan Leung – Chanting In Silhouette
Theatre

Description
Description
Leo Cheung, Billy Tang and Roy Szeto add a transformative touch to light, medium, and interaction
Poon Chan Leung, stage veteran of two decades, loses his ability to differentiate real life and on-stage personae. He sleep walks and steals into costume warehouses, even puts on wigs and beards in disguise. Sometimes he’d hide in a corner, all tearful, unable to utter his own name. He decides to run away from it all, yet he remains trapped in this imaginary world where his multiple personae and other hallucinations continue their dialogue incessantly.
The devices of light, medium and interaction create projections that run counterpoint to real-life acting. Light (Leo Cheung), medium (Billy Tang) and interaction (Roy Szeto)* join forces with in-the-moment interplay, crafting an ultra-new multi-media theatrical experience for Hong Kong, creating poetry out of light and illusion.
