The Actors’ Family Story

Description

Description

After the much-praised A Tribute to Joseph Koo concert in November 2014, CU Chorus continues to explore the possibilities of Cantonese choral music. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Actors’ Family in 2016, CU Chorus pays tribute to the pioneer of Cantonese musical theatre in Hong Kong by co-presenting this concert with highlights from Actors’ Family’s past musical productions, bridging the two worlds of musical theatres and classical concert performances. CU Chorus will perform the newly arranged musical numbers in classical choral style with piano accompaniment, a fresh treat to both arrangers and the audience. Pak-him Chu, Margaret Cheung and Jarita Wan from Actors’ Family will be the narrators, showcasing the company’s extravaganza over the past 25 years.
