Goodnight Moon And The Runaway Bunny

International Arts Carnival 2010

Description

Description

This double bill of puppetry adapts the classic bedtime stories of celebrated author Margaret Wise Brown and illustrator Clement Hurd, which have delighted generations of children since they were first published in the 1940s.

In Goodnight Moon, a bunny goes through the comforting bedtime ritual of bidding goodnight to the objects in his room. The Runaway Bunny focuses on a young rabbit who imagines leaving home, but in his pretend game of hide-and-seek he always ends up being found by his mother.

This entrancing performance features innovative puppetry, enchanting original music, colourful sets and black light magic that lull young and old into a spell-binding land of dreams and imagination. Join the inspiring and endearing little rabbits as they seek reassurance and celebrate a mother’s love in these two delightful tales.
