Description

Description

Darkness!

As we are thrown deeper into the darkness, the unknown becomes our only reality. How can we venture into what we do not know? We simply go one step at a time. Each step is heavy-laden with fear and uncertainty. However, the sound of drums gives us courage: look to Buddha.

In this spirited performance, artists from Hong Kong and Japan collaborate to create a theatrical feast for the audience by combining elements of movement with Taiko drumming.

The theme and inspiration for this production is based on the legend of Enku – an itinerant Japanese monk who travelled from village to village, sharing his religious hand-carved wood works.
