Desert The Dangling Cat
Theatre

Description
Description
“Dangling” – an old local idiom about being stuck, unable to move forward or backward
How does a production that’s not quite a failure (yet far from a success) win applause?
A veteran actor unable to remember his lines precipitates the cancellation of a production. On the night of the originally planned premiere, he turns up waiting for curtain time while the rest of the cast and crew have already been disbanded. Box office staff is handling returns while only the stage assistant, director, cleaning staff and one member of the audience are inside the theatre. Does a performance that’s destined to fail have a chance for rebirth?
