Description
Twin sisters Wong Yuk-moi and Yuk-fan have been betrothed to Yeung’s and Ma’s family respectively since birth. The war has separated the sisters and they have to pretend as each other under the order of their parents.
Yuk-moi comes to the battlefield to bring Ma Chun-sang, the pioneer, his battle robe. Mistaking Yuk-moi for her sister, Yeung Chi-sing, the general, is furious at Yuk-fan being loose in morals. The army runs short of food. Chun-sang plans to kill his wife to feed the soldiers. As Chi-sing recognizes Yuk-moi as his wife, he agrees to the plan so as to kill Yuk-fan. Chun-sang confesses to Yuk-moi and passes out when he tries to kill her. To help her husband, Yuk-moi commits suicide leaving a suicide note. Yuk-fan comes to find her husband and meets Bak-ling. They are mistaken as spies, as a bomb is put into their luggage by the enemy. Chun-sang is about to execute the ladies when Chi-sing stops the execution and presents the suicide note written by Yuk-moi. At the same time, Madame Wong is searching for her daughters at the site. The truth is revealed.
