Hong Kong Flute Academy

The Hong Kong Flute Academy was founded by Mr. Matthew Wu in 2004. The goal of the academy is to provide professional training for flute learners as well as to nourish music appreciation and enjoyment through the flute. The HKFA is not just a flute learning institute, it is also a family. Teachers and students feel close and they care for each other. we emphasized parents’ communication with their children and academy in order to maximize the effectiveness of teaching. The Hong Kong Flute Academy offers various performing opportunities for the students. We provide weekly ensemble practices – the Tutti Flutti Flute Ensemble. Members are coached by our headmaster Mr. Matthew Wu to learn flute playing and performance practices on wide range flute repertoire.
The Monthly Student Concert provides students a regular platform for performances and opportunities for cooperation with classmates. After the performance, our headmaster will give feedback to the performers, allowing them to grow more happily on the road to flute music learning.
