Description

Description

Strength, Courage and Honour: China’s Legendary Woman Warrior
Mulan was very worried because the name of his senile father was included in the conscription. Without an elder brother to take her father’s place, Mulan decided to disguise herself as a man to join the army. After years of battles, Mulan won comradeship among fellow soldiers and was promoted a General. After the war, she gave up a high official position at court in order to return to her home town to take care of her father. When fellow soldiers subsequently met Mulan in her female attire, they were very surprised to discover that General Mulan whom they had fought side by side for years was actually a lady!
