Description

Tibet is located at the South-western part of China. It is named as ‘The Roof of the World’ because it has wide and high lands. Tibetan people believe in reincarnation, so they are not afraid of death. Tibetan dance costumes features in long coats and dresses with long sleeves. People usually wear boots and head pieces which stitched with inherited natural jewelleries. Their hair is decorated with colourful braids. Tibetan people dances with Reba drums and Khatas in harvest and worshipping gods. In the performance, traditional Tibetan folk dances are performed, and are made comprehensible with a brief introduction of Tibetan history and culture, inviting the audience to explore mysterious Tibet.
