Hong Kong Sinfonietta salutes Beethoven’s timeless genius with this programme featuring the musical giant’s Piano Concerto No 4 (soloist: Colleen Lee) and Symphony No 4, under the baton of Music Director Emeritus Yip Wing-sie. The concert also offers the world première of Pastoral – after we perish by Charles Kwong, Artist Associate of the orchestra this season, who illustrates his post-apocalyptic vision of the world in this thought-provoking work.
