Splash! Garden Bloom – Wall/Scene

Description

Description

‘Splash! Garden Bloom’ invited the public’s participation to make art an embodiment of interpersonal communication and interaction, while striking a balance between the individual perspectives they hold.

Wall / Scene created by LAAB on the lawn area at Oi! had been facilitating community participation and communication for the past few months.

Forming unique contours at Oi!, the installation connected and reflected the space in vertical greenery and mirrors, created wall modules that were no longer used to separate, but to trigger interpersonal interactions. With the ability to create different scenarios, ‘Wall / Scene’ asked visitors to explore boundless possibilities with synchronic and sympatric imagination.

So far, the installation had been used for football shooting games, the blackboard had been filled with emotional lyrics and poems, the white wall served as a projection screen for small outdoor screening events and the shelves supported bookcrossing.

The reflective mirrors of ‘Wall / Scene’ witnessed all these changes that Oi! had undergone.
