Description
Following the participation of the Russian collective in the first Bangkok Biennale, Art Statements is deslighted to feature the video and photos series The Feast of Trimalchio. Inspired by Petronius’s «Satyricon» as well as, among others references, Michel Houellebecq and Guy Debord, AES+F’s hypnotic masterwork revolves around luxury, gluttony and unbridled pleasure, with a geopolitical and visionary twist. The visually and conceptually impactful work has been exhibited at the Venice and Sydney Biennale.
