Unforsaken Mass
Visual Arts

Description
Description
“Unforsaken Mass” presents six graduates from Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University and the Department of Fine Arts of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Artworks showcased include ink paintings, seal carving and calligraphy.
Art graduates strain every nerve to create their graduation works to present their achievements in art in their graduate exhibition. This period of time and these works have an unmeasurable importance to them which could be heavy as a mountain and light as a feather. This is not only an end but a beginning and milestone of their learning progress.
The artists could be influenced by the work unconsciously. Regardless of the intensity of the influence, it has drawn an important page for their artistic career. The theme echoes with the exhibits as an unknown and unexpected weight emerged. The exhibition hopes to offer the audience a fresh look at the art field through the creativity of this group of young artists. Cheer Bell Gallery cordially invites the audience to explore the power and significance of this group of artistic new blood and look forward to their future creation.
Note:This event record is compiled from "Hong Kong Visual Arts Yearbook 2019" published by Department of Fine Arts, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
