Description
West Kowloon is delighted to co-present the live screening debut of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra’s annual extravaganza, Swire Symphony Under The Stars in the Art Park. On the same evening as the live outdoor performance takes place at the Central Harbourfront, audiences can enjoy a live-streamed relay on the opposite side of the harbour with the city’s iconic skyline as the backdrop.
The HK Phil performance – conducted by Wilson Ng and hosted by local personality Harry Gor Gor – presents an exuberant programme of classical dance music with four HK Phil musicians performing as soloists: Andrew Ling (Piazzolla’s Le Grand Tango), and Christopher Moyse, Douglas Waterston and Robert Smith (Anderson’s Bugler’s Holiday).
Join us in the Art Park for this special outdoor event marking the first co-presentation between West Kowloon and HK Phil – and don’t forget to bring a blanket to make yourself comfortable on the lawn!
Viola: Andrew Ling
Trumpet: Christopher Moyse; Douglas Waterston; Robert Smith
Host: Harry Gor Gor
