The HK Phil is delighted to return to the stage of Tai Kwun performing powerful string music by three masters. Beethoven steered the string quartet into more passionate waters, his contemporary Schubert invested it with beauty and song-like melodies, while Mendelssohn gave it magic, charm and endearing innocence.
