Description
13 tells the story of the 12 years old protagonist Evan Goldman, preparing for his 13th birthday. According to the Jewish tradition he is going to hold a coming-of-age ceremony, Bar Mitzvah, yet his peaceful little world falls apart all of a sudden at this important turning point. His parents got divorced, and he is moving from his hometown New York City to a small town in Indiana. Struggling to cope with his own puberty, to adapt to the new environment, and to make his way into the local teen circle so as to ensure a successful Bar Mitzvah, Evan is under much stress, and lost his way in the maze of friendship and betrayal…
