The first half of the gala features different choirs under the Hong Kong Association of Choral Societies performing China’s various modern choral repertoires, showcasing the many faces of contemporary China. In the second half, feel the magnificence of the Yellow River and celebrate the 70th anniversary of People’s Republic of China by immersing in Xian Xinghai’s choral spectacle “Yellow River Cantata”, performed by over 500 choristers on stage and led by the National Class One Conductor, Cao Ding.
